One Room Game Assignment (GUI Art)

Stage 1-Inventory
After the final concepts I started to work on the inventory for the game, I thought of the idea of using the line designs for inventory which was inspired by the Great Gatsby. I originally designed two that sliver and gold one, Alex and me liked the silver one but it looked too flat so I used the embossed feature in Photoshop which made it pop out more. Once we were happy with this I made a concept to chow how the item you get go in the diamond shape sections.

Stage 2-Pick Ups
Once the Inventory was done I moved on to work on the icons that represent the pick ups, for these I needed to design four codes on a piece of paper and a key. For these I used the same technique as the inventory so they would look similar and work well off each other.

Stage 3-Cursors
Then I started to work on the cursors for the game so that we had our own custom mouse icon which would change to a hand when it hovered over an asset which the player could interact with. Like the cursors I used the same the same technique as the inventory.

Stage 4-Pause Menu
For the pause menu I simply designed it based on the style of inventory which would show off the Art Deco style. I used the same technique to emboss it like the inventory.

Stage 5-Timer

Finally for the timer I made a simple design using the same technique to emboss the design like the inventory.
Stage 6-Final GUI
